Subaru’s Awards Give Colorado Drivers a Big Win

Car shopping in the age of COVID-19 has presented some challenges. Schomp Subaru’s Schomp@Home has made online shopping as easy as possible. And the recommendation of experts has come to mean more than ever before.

That’s why we’re so pleased that the 2020 Subaru Outback is earning recent attention for its excellence by Autotrader and the iconic family publication, Good Housekeeping.

The 2020 Subaru Outback was named among Autotrader’s “12 Best New Cars” in the Wagon category, while the Outback was listed as one of the “Best New Family Cars” by Good Housekeeping – for the second time in two years.

A Unanimous Choice

Autotrader’s tough criteria included a requirement that all of its team had to agree unanimously on a choice. Moreover, according to Autotrader, “Every vehicle on this list comes with some unexpected benefit or set of features that change the way you’d think of that car or the brand that it comes from,”

One of the Autotrader judges said he believes the 2020 Subaru Outback is “the perfect SUV alternatives for those who want a rugged family car without the bulky size of a more truck-like vehicle. Talk about a win-win!

The all-new, sixth-generation Outback was lauded by Good Housekeeping as its Best Station Wagon because it covers all the bases: standard safety features, exterior design, ride comfort, safety and infotainment technology and cargo space. The magazine worked with Car and Driver – the well-known automotive reviewing publication – on road testing and evaluating all of the 2020 cars, SUVs and minivans.

New, but Familiar

In its writeup of the 2020 Subaru Outback, Good Housekeeping explained “Why We Love It. It’s an enhanced version of a vehicle already beloved by many (and us!). Now in its sixth generation, it feels familiar yet more modern. The rugged exterior design appeals to anyone with an outdoorsy side.”

Outdoorsy side? That covers a huge segment of Colorado’s drivers, which is why Subaru generally – and the Outback in particular – rank highly among Coloradans who have bought cars in the last several years.

Now that Colorado is beginning to open up for business again, we hope to welcome you to our showroom on Havana in Aurora. And we’re always open for business online.
